Each image is the work of one or more authors (photographers, illustrators, artists, etc.), whose rights must be respected. Thus:

• Any use, reproduction, dissemination or modification of an image issued from the collections of the MNHN is subject to prior authorization.
• The credits of the authors must be made explicit, as provided by the MNHN.
• The use of images for commercial or publicity purposes requires an express request and may give rise to a fee.
